Karine Gratton, creator of A to Z Volunteering

Karine loves people and has a passion to help change countries for the best, especially in Latin America. In addition to having created the A to Z Volunteering website, she founded JustVolunteering, a group of employees of the Department of Justice of Canada who have an interest in volunteering. Karine volunteered with a leadership program for inmates in Texas, she organized toy collections for impoverished children in the world, she co-chaired a regional chapter of the Christian Legal Fellowship of Canada and chaired two university clubs, including one that she founded. Throughout her travels, Karine has had the joy of meeting the four children that she sponsors in Nicaragua and Guatemala. She speaks French, English and Spanish. In her spare time, Karine is a Legislative Counsel at the Department of Justice and cannot help but dance when she hears a good merengue.
